COURSE SYNOPSIS:
The Beyond Ambient Light Workshop series is headed to the Center for Dental Artistry, Ridgefield, Washington State on July 31 to August 2, 2025 plus an amazing full third day of practical and amazing intraoral photography.
This is an INTIMATE and IMMERSIVE 3-day lighting workshop focusing on how to balance ambient and artificial light for both indoor and outdoor scenarios to create timeless images of your patient’s aesthetic cases.
This workshop will give you the opportunity to set up, light and photograph the model/patient so that you can create images you can call your own. It is designed to help you learn how to control ambient light and master off camera lights as simple as possible.
Included with this event is a full “BONUS” third day that goes over simple and bulletproof techniques to create amazing intraoral photos of your own patients for marketing or clinical documentation!
After this workshop, you will come away with how to capture portrait images of authentic smiles that you can be proud of!
This is a beginning course and very easy to follow!
At this workshop, we will cover how you can set yourself apart from other “family and cosmetic dentists’ through the use of portrait/glamour photography. Make sure you bring your camera and memory cards so you can participate. Also if you want a current head-shot image, make sure you dress appropriately so you can come away with a glamour photo of your own to use for your marketing. We will have participants pose as well as take pictures of each other so you can experience both sides of the camera.
In the second part of this 3 day course Dr. David Chan will have the participants take part in a live hands-on demonstration the very simple techniques to take quick and amazing intraoral photography.
Classes are limited in size so everyone can leave feeling competent that they can set up a studio at their office. Also the smaller number of participants will allow everyone to be constantly active and shooting different models to practice this amazing new skill!
